About 1 in 56 Million
Who we are, what we believe, and the limits we hold ourselves to.
1 in 56 Million exists for people who suspect their family carries a thread back to ancient Israel — and who want to explore that honestly, without being told what to believe.
What the name means
“1 in 56 million” is the long odds a person might beat to trace a living line back to a specific ancient ancestor — and a nod to how improbable, and how personal, this search feels.
What we do
We share the history and the claims of British-Israelism, point to real genealogical and genetic research, and offer a free DNA kit as an exploratory first step.
What we don’t claim
We do not tell you that you are an Israelite. British-Israelism is disputed by mainstream scholarship; we present it as a heritage theory to explore, and we are explicit that DNA cannot prove descent from a lost tribe.
How it’s funded
The kit is currently free. If that ever changes, we’ll say so plainly on this page.
